Plugin Display Names

So I've been organizing my plugin database this morning and it's going well. Waveform is nicely featured in this regard.

But one thing I'm missing is the ability to customize the plugin display names. In the example below:

I would like for the plugins to load and display as SubBoom, Avenger, and Zebra HZ. No need for the x64 tag as I only install and work with 64 bit plugins. Shorter names just cleans thing up.

I have poked and prodded, right clicked, looked for keyboard shortcuts, etc and I'm not seeing a way to accomplish this task which is easily done in some other DAWs I own.

So unless I'm missing something obvious this task is not possible. If it is possible can someone please enlighten me and if it's not possible please consider this a (fairly low priority) feature request.

Here's another example. This is how the "TR5 Sunset Sound Studio Reverb" (an admittedly long name) displays in WF's Mixer:

So in this case it becomes less of a luxury and more of a necessity to have the ability to rename plugins even if it's after loading.

In Settings, on the Plugins page, you can set an alias for plugins. Just double click in the "alias" column in the list.

Brilliant! Thank you! Just what I was looking for.

I did indeed miss something painfully obvious. I just didn't see the Alias column.

I'm starting to like Waveform more and more each day.....
