Diva question: Restrict modulation range for midi controller

Is there a way to restrict the range of modulation when a parameter is connected to a MIDI controller? For example, when I MIDI Learn something using the modwheel, it would be nice to restrict it to only the sweet spots, so that you can have finer control within that range. There is something like it in the MIDI Table section, but you are only limited to certain modes (eg. fine and semitone allow smaller ranges, but are not exact).

Hi LenR,
I'd very much advise to use performance controls (like modwheel or aftertouch) only inside the synth engine, meaning on the GUI directly, not externally via MIDI-Learn. Remember these are two different things. Using a MIDI controller knob via the MIDI Learn page, think of it more as a sound design tool, the knob you assign is always full range.
But a performance control like modwheel, use it in one of the modulation slots on the user interface directly, where often you can then set a 'depth'.
My 2 cents.

That definitely does work, but I have to give up a modulation slot for it, which are a bit on the scarce side in Diva. It would be a nice QoL feature to be allowed to restrict the range through something like the MIDI Table that's all.

These things aren't saved per preset though, so it'd be more realistic to feature-request extra modulation slots, I think.
