Yeah, how that particular bug wasn't picked up in testing is beyond me

it is kinda mind boggling. makes me wonder about their beta process and who the testers are???

Amazed at how the Logic bugs alone made it through their "testing".

I guess maybe Reaktor doesn't show as vst3 for me because I don't have the latest Komplete version, but Reaktor is up to date for my version (K11).
I'm spoiled by Arturia. When you get their synths, they normally get updated for free unless there's a major overhaul.

- New alternate UI colouring (“Dark Mode”) with higher contrast.
Activated/deactivated via “File” menu. Selection is used as initial
display mode for new Largo 2 instances (no effect on running instances).
- Plugin UI resizing not applied any more when loading a bank with
resize info from Largo 2, only when loading the DAW project (depends on
DAW).
- Several improvements for File and Program Browser, e.g.
- Load bank/preset on double click.
- Multi selection in file browser.
- Prevent deleting scan folders and Local Library.
- More warning dialogs when operations fail.
- AU preset loading from file browser
- AU in Logic Pro with Apple Silicon: Local Library now visible in File
Browser. Installed presets now in /Users/Shared/Waldorf/Largo2/Presets
(only AU Plugin version).
- Added tags and sound previews for the 128 NKS presets of bank “Factory
Default”.
- NKS preset files are now based on VST3, not VST any more, as NI is
abandoning future VST support in their DAWs. The VST version of Largo 2
is still fully operational in NI DAWs supporting VST, but our preset
files for Largo 2 will always launch a VST3 instance from now on.
- Reduced lagging on program change.
- Fixed manual value entry, also for non-standard notations like “80%”
and special values like “free”.
- Fixed unsolicited value change when clicking a horizontal/vertical
slider value box.
- Fixed program change reporting to host ( thus fixing problems where
DAW projects did not not save/restore the current program number).
- The current value of ARP Pattern length, glide and step mode controls
is now shown in the top parameter status display when hovering over them
with the mouse or changing their value.
- Fixed display update on category change.

Seems encouraging!

Yep. And the font is still tiny.

Still buggy, at least in Logic.

*GUI size will not stick when opening a new instance. Always defaults to original size.
*Logic specific - Saving a patch as Default always resets the filter envelope's release to zero and it doesn't save the GUI size.
*Still a little laggy when switching banks and clicking on that first preset. I know they "reduced" lag, but how about getting rid of it altogether.
*AU presets won't load from Logic's library browser or the internal plugin browser.

The worst one though is after saving a project, opening it resets all your filter envelope releases to ZERO across every Largo instance. And there's something going on with patch name recall too.

An alternative sh*t looking GUI to add to the default sh*t looking GUI. Not much of a choice. Is it April fools already?.
