after closing Waveform pro 1.2.22 Windows hangs for 10-15 seconds,
do you have the same?
And also: how long does the program take to load with an average project.

That's not a version number. Current version is 12.5.11 IIRC.

On Windows can't speak for Mac. Waveform does take longer to open than other DAWs I've used. It depends on how complex the edit is particularly if many samples are being loaded into mem eg Kontakt Instruments and Drum plugs. Simple projects close quickly for me but some do take longer, not clear why. WF doesn't typically hang on closedown but I have seen it on occasion, maybe particular plugin, dunno.

Keep in mind that some plugin are more or less "cloud" based. If such a plugin has problems to contact its server than this could cause delays, too.

I haven't bought the update yet because I checked the free version and didn't like it, this version is more stable for me. Like a big project and there is a contact or other heavier instruments, it takes a long time to charge, but that's natural. I wonder why if my win10 settings are affected after closing the program, 10 seconds freezing of all windows

Do you have Waveform set to automatically generate a preview of your edit? If so it will render your edit every time you close it, check the little progress meter at the top right when you close an edit.
This option can be selected in settings.

Yes, I tried with this and without Waveform set to automatically generate a preview but still nothing changes, it closes faster and hangs for 5 seconds in win10, and in version pro 10 everything is fine, I will try version pro 11.5.0, thanks.

You can check also the log file. This may give a hint which specific step caused the delay.
