Image disappearance in MSF (and note on "Cause and Effect")

I was going through some of the new devices in MSF - some really groovy stuff there! - and at one point noticed the little eye symbol to the right of the Instrument Presets button. "What's that?" I thought, and clicked it. The image for the device disappeared from the device tree display, replaced by a black square. I tried several things (but not the "Undo" button, so I don't know if that would have worked), but nothing I did would return the image to the device tree.
Belatedly, I looked at what the eye does, it replaces the device image with the "current screen shot," which in this case was non-existent, so a black square appeared.
Yes, user error, in the "don't do that!!" category, and if I'd had my morning coffee I might have thought to try the Undo button (would that have restored the image?). I suppose I could re-install MSF, but that seems a bit heavy-handed. So, perhaps a warning would be good before altering the image?
Also - In the "Cause and Effect" device (which is the one I mutilated) it appears there are supposed to be 2 Random buttons (one for Cause and one for Effect), but I can only access them if I enter Edit mode and open the Multiparameters tab. It's a great feature, and it is mentioned in the "?" window, it seems like they should be in the device image, is that an oversight?

Hello,
yes, the new little eye symbol in the top right is supposed to make a device screenshot with your current settings. It works fine on MS Windows, unfortunately not under macOS. Thank you for reporting this bug, we are going to fix this.

yes, it is possible to get the images back by reinstallation of plugins (no need to do clean up). Then it will re-write the empty images. We have fix ready, it will work fine in most DAWs in the next release.
