Modulator Sync Group: First Isn't Leading V16.10

Hi, in modulator sync groups the first modulator is supposed to be the leader as per the help. In practice, it seems the second modulator is leading. Actually, it's not even that straightforward. If you set the first modulator in the group to any rate (but especially over 1Hz), it influences the rate of the group - and it's not a simple multiplier. For example, if both are set to 1Hz, setting Mod 1 rate to 0.5Hz does not multiply the rate of Mod 2 by 0.5 to produce a halving of effective rate. Since I don't see anything about this is in the changelog, I'm assuming it's a bug.

EDIT: It's even more confusing. If you add Mod 1 to the group after adding Mod 2 to it, the influence of each one's rate is not clear. I think this is right, please experiment with adding Mod 1 to the group first and then adding Mod 2 to the group first. Depending on which you add first, the influence of each Modulator's rate will not be the same. What follows is pre-edit but the basic issue is clear: Mod 1 is not leading the sync group, the order in which you add modulators influences how each one's rate affects the sync behavior and the relationship is not simple arithmetic.

Please load this patch into MAutoDynamicEQ and adjust the rate of Mod 1 and Mod 2. Mod 2 always controls the group's rate but Mod 1 will also do so if you set the rate to anything (more obvious after 1Hz). Let me know if it's just me but I did a restart on reaper, which usually fixes things like this, but it persists. Melda 16.10, Reaper 7.05, Windows 11. Thanks.

Hello,

yes, thank you for this finding. The issue is well reproducible, we have fixed it - next release. When you put some modulator in the sync group, then the first modulator in this group (the one with the lowest index) will be leader and others in the same group will be synced with it.
