MXXX Unexpected UI Behavior

Until yesterday, I had not created a new device in MXXX for quite a long while. So, maybe there's a new "feature" I am not aware of. I added a couple of MPs and clicked out of Edit mode to see what they looked like. What I saw is in the image below. All the other areas are collapsed. The controls, in this case two extremely narrow sliders, are in a narrow column on the left. I can't seem to find a way to expand the control area to be usable. Any suggestions?

By the way, this behaves the same under Cubase and Blue Cat Patchwork as VST3 hosts.

No responses? Is nobody else seeing this behavior (or is nobody else developing unskinned MXXX devises anymore )?

I did find a hack of a workaround: include a separator line with enough characters to expand the column to the desired width. The other controls will also widen to fill the space.

I haven't checked other Melda plug-ins to see if a similar thing is occurring, but I do hope that's not the case.

Happy to, but I don't know what that is or where it can be found. Can you please enlighten? Or do you just mean the device specification?

CTRL + COPY
This will generate a file that you can share. When receiving a file you use CTRL + PASTE to load it.

Here you go. I simplified this to have only one Utility module and one MP. Still getting the narrow column problem here. I am running 16.10, just to be clear.
