I'm considering buying a Linnstrument, and hoping someone can help me clear up a question I haven't been able to find specific information on:
Do splits set as CC faders (or similarly, the low row used a continuous control strip) send values at greater resolution than a single pad? e.g. if the faders are 3 pads wide, will they only send values as 3 discrete steps, or are more fine values sent as I slide horizontally across the pad?
Put another way: do CC values work like pitch bend when quantization is off, or are they quantized by pad? And will an initial strike of the pad send a quantized CC value, or is the value specific to where I strike the pad?

Thanks for your interest in LinnStrument. u2260. In CC Faders mode, the continuous position is sensed. Using your example using CC Faders on a 3-column wide split, moving your finger from left to right will produce continuous high resolution CC values from 0 to 127. The same is true for Low Row.

Thanks very much for the answer, Roger! That's how I was hoping it worked :)
