Where do old notes go to after they're played?

They must go somewhere, but I suspect they aren't utilised as fully as they could be. I'm pretty sure my notes don't linger around once I've played them but have no idea where they go to. I was thinking (in one of my more benign moments) that I could donate mine to a charity. I guess I wouldn't have that many notes to donate, as I make fairly simplistic music compared to, say symphonies, but there might be some poor little urban ne'er-do-wells that could make a go of life if they got some free second hand music? And every little bit helps.

Once my notes are done playing they go to the note bar to look for note groupies.

I think the real concern is bandwidth. I believe there are infinite notes and a musician will never use the same note twice. It's sort of like they are born and die, sometimes as a long slow fade, others as a short palm mute. But they then go to note heaven where perfect harmony reigns supreme. Back to bandwidth. As the population grows will we see polyphony issues? I sometimes notice I play a note and nothing comes out. I thought it was just me, but maybe not.

Only the good notes die and go to note heaven. The bad notes keep getting reincarnated and become jazz.

Questions like this are why I try to use as few notes as possible, and always reuse or recycle them.

Heat. The kinetic energy of the pressure waves dissipate as heat.

They float off into space. Right now, the very first music made is floating past Rigel 7.
