Hi, I recently moved my EW libraries from one drive to another. Prior to doing that in Logic I saved .ewi files for each track that had Opus.

I just used EW Install App to relocate all my libraries.

Logic for each Opus track says it could not find library. When I open Opus for some track and open its corresponding .ewi file I get message "This product is not supported".

Any idea? I would really like to open these saved .ewi files so that each Opus instance has same exact settings as previously.

thanks!

Likely your saved files are looking in the old place and expecting to see it all there, it will only look in the new location for new instances.

You could make a copy of the instrument folders back to where they were, and then create a symoblic link to the new sample content folder - this is a virtual folder that will invisibly point the OS to the new location of the samples. There's simple free mac apps to do this (also Windows has them too). You need to have the virtual folder name exactly the same as the old sample folder and in exactly the same place.

The ewi files won't take up much space, it's the samples that take up 99.9% of the space.

I opened the Opus program, set library location there, then restarted Logic and now all seems ok.
