Moin,
if I'm playing a VST3 Instance of Hive 2 (Rev 12092) while the transport of the DAW is stopped, and while playing notes starting the transport, all previous playing notes immediately stop playing, even the notes are latched or the keys are held constantly. The VST2 Version works fine, only the VST3 has this bug.

On playback start a reset is performed. That's necessary to stop reverbs, delays or fading voices from leaking into a mix down.
The VST2 commonly does this too, but the things that a plug-in is told on playback start may vary from host to host.

Hmm, I never saw such behaviour in my other VSTi so far, but ok, if this is what you want, then it is, what is is. Two choices for me then. First, hoping the VST2 will not be fixed to the VST3 behaviour, or second, just using a different synth-plugin.
Best regards

I quickly tried Serum, Sylenth and Logic instruments in Logic, and all of them reset on playback start. Notes that are held are cut off. I'm fairly sure, so should VST3, VST2, AAX and CLAP plug-ins.
