Power supply Gator G-Bus-8 - why is it not sold everywhere?

I had one for over 10 years and were to get another.

8 x 9V 0.25A
3 x 18V 0.35A
short circuit protection
cables included

It cost a third of the Voodoo Labs one, why is it hard to find?
- who needs 0.5A anyway for a pedal
- those pedals usually come with separate supply anyway

I even had shortcircuit tested since one pedal had housing before connector, and there were sparks.
- nothing broke

Sometimes the market does not work....
