Kuassa has released a Marshall Guvnor/DriveMaster/ShredMaster emulation. I again got it for free because I already own the 360 bundle, a gift that keeps on giving... At this point I hadn't paid for anything in over three years, feels like I'm robbing them at this point

That said, I never jived with other Guvnor emulations, and I always thought the pedal itself sounds like shit so I honestly have no idea why it became so popular. This one is no exception: I generally do not like how it sounds, it's basically RAT without the filter, very gnarly. It's very good for that specific type of sound but I don't see myself using it very often, to be honest.

small update: the "gnarliness" was due to me accidentally playing into a dirty channel - the pedal is much more well behaved on fully clean channels. I still don't particularly like what I get from it, but I don't want people getting wrong impression about what it sounds like

Yeah, those should be considered as a preamps
