Late Replies, and phantom replies?

I don't understand this. But sometimes, and I can't predict when, I'll get a phantom reply several seconds after my initial sound. In one recent test, it was around 24 seconds later. This despite the fact that the replies section is disabled, the only loop that is enabled is set to a number of milliseconds, and there is simply nothing else I can find that could possibly cause these phantom repeats. What is going on?

This is definitely not expected. If it were a few seconds I would I have thought it could be a buffer cleanup issue, but 24 seconds is way too much for that. In which context/host/plugin format are you using it?
