I am wondering if there are plans to upgrade Remote Control to take advantage of the new Pro Tools Midi Plugin Functionality. Would this help with MIDI routing ?

Yes that's definitely in the plans, but we have not had a look at it yet! It's great to finally have full support for MIDI plug-ins in Pro Tools!
