BC Late Replies - a second delay line that I can't turn off?

I like Late Replies for its ability to create feedback loops. But there's something getting in the way and inserting itself into my chain. I've seen the flowchart for the signal path, and whatever this is, it shouldn't be there.
I have one loop turned on, and the other turned off. I have the pattern section turned off, too. In about a second, the loop that is turned on fades into nothing. But then, after a few seconds, the looping content mysteriously comes back. Something is bringing it back, and I have no idea what, and every single control I look at doesn't turn it off. And it's starting to make me angry.
Currently, I am running this plugin in VST Host. There are plugins in the loop, but they are TURNED OFF, every single one of them, without exception. And I'm feeding a transient into the system. My base delay is 15ms. Every 24 seconds roughly, the transient echoes back again.
Ok, I switched the base delay to 110ms. I get the appropriate feedback... and then the echoes that shouldn't be there aren't there. Is this something that only happens with low numbers for base delay?
Ok, so if I set the delay to 60 ms, I get the appropriate feedback... and then I get the extra phantom delay line. Again,, about 24 seconds later.
80 ms: same story.
100 ms: Suddenly the phantom line isn't happening anymore.
Where is this extra delay line coming from, and how do I kill it?

Can you maybe share a preset with us so that we can give it a try? Do you maybe have some cross-feedback active with the other loop?

Ok. I experimented a bit. I wanted to get it town to just stock plugins. The thing is, when I get it down to just stock plugins, it doesn't do it anymore.
So here's a version that will misbehave, if you happen to have DSEQ by TBProAudio installed. And there's an instance of Sitala in there just to act as a sound source.
But let me review when I found:
Put in third party plugin (TBProAudio DSEQ), and we get the mysterious extra delay line.
Put in third party plugin and turn the plugin OFF, and we STILL get the mysterious extra delay line.
Remove third party plugin, and suddenly the mysterious delay line goes away.
So there must be some kind of strange interaction between Late Replies and the third party plugin.
And it highlights a problem I've noticed with some of Blue Cat's plugins that host other plugins: "OFF" means "ON and processing audio and using system resources and affecting performance and a bunch of other things, just not putting out any sound".
Other than that, it's gotta be a bug.

It does the same thing with Soothe, by the way. Must just be certain plugins. I promise you, these plugins do not create delay loops on their own.

Thanks for the details. I'll have to check these out. Are these plug-ins maybe adding latency? It could be a problem with latency compensation inside the feedback loop.
