Every time I open MPluginManager it wants to install an update. I allow it but then always get an error:
File: "C:/Users/xxxxxx/Downloads/MPluginManager_01_04_setup.exe" could not be created. Make sure there is no write-protected file already existing.
Error: "No such file or directory"
Why is it trying to create this in the first place and second, what do I do to fix it.
Error updating MPluginManager

Looks like something is blocking that file, strange. There are two simple solutions:
1. Delete that file and run MPluginManager again.
2. You can run the new MPluginManager setup just by running that file and installation manually. It is actually the same file as you can download here: https://www.meldaproduction.com/downloads
If non of these helps, contact me directly: martin@meldaproduction.com
