So... I have stored a number of my own custom IRs and IRs gathered from the web in the Melda IR folder on my Mac. After the lastest update to Version 17, using the new updater, it seems that Melda decided to erase all of my custom IRs and replace them with the standard Melda set. All my custom folders are gone and I have no clue where they went. They aren't in my trash folder.
I have been updating for years using the old updater and have never encountered this issue. So, Melda, please, find away to update that doesn't erase all the hard work I've done to curate a collection of custom IRs. Fortunately, many of them can be recovered, but some will never be. That's on me, for not making a backup.

Sorry for the complications. I believe you solved it with Martin somehow, and he fixed the plugin manager, right?

Yes, this issue has been fixed in the recently released MPluginManager 01.07. It occurred only when an older installation (version < v17) was detected. We will not delete IR data from the program data folders (C:\ProgramData\MeldaProduction on Windows and /Library/Application Support/MeldaProduction on macOS). Additionally, MPluginManager will not delete any potential user-created folders in these locations.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Please note that the C:\ProgramData folder on Windows is hidden by default and is intended for system and application use. Users should not create folders here, as it can lead to complications. On macOS, while the folder is not hidden, its purpose is the same. Nevertheless, MPluginManager will now ensure that user-created folders are preserved in both locations.
