Autogain not functioning as expected

Autogain not functioning as expected in Mturbocomp. Shouldn't I be able to set the gain across all models and flip between them on default settings without a volume jump? That is not the case. The volume varies wildly between each model making it virtually impossible to flip through each model of compressor to understand what they are doing to the tone and the transients of my sound because all I am hearing is the gain change and not much else. Not without an hour of work could I truly match all of these settings exactly to get the right effect. Must I use another plugin for this, is there a melda plugin which will properly match the gain?

EDIT: I'm using MGUC now but why would I need that if there is autogain built into the plugin?

I'm not sure what you are doing, but you can usually just press the Set button to "embed" the volume to the settings.
Also there's no MGUC plugin
