Melda crashing Studio One

Hi all I am new to this forum, and am having issues with Melda plugins and Studio one. Every since I updated to v. 17, the plugins (no matter what I use, MSaturatorMB, Mautodynamiceq, MDynamics , etc) crashes Studio One without fail. I cannot reproduce this issue in any other DAWs I own, the plugins work fine, well only Bitwig and Reaper. Is anyone else having this issue, and can recommend a fix?

I had 2 recent problems which may or may not shed light on your issue, but it's something to look into. The folder references are for Windows.

1. When I updated Melda to v17 (from v14) I discovered that the old version files in "C:\ProgramData\MeldaProduction" were not getting replaced so I had to uninstall Melda completely, clear that folder, and reinstall.

2. Separate problem but not with Melda plugins, one DAW crashed for a particular plugin suite while others didn't. I found that "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" contained the current plugin versions, while a sub-folder (with the suite name) had old versions (so deleted old sub-folder). It's possible that VST2 files are duplicated too.
