Can Waveform be configured to work with Vidami Blue?

My birthday is upcoming and I'm considering putting a Vidami on my wish list. I see from the comparison chart on their website that the Vidami Blue (i.e., with Bluetooth connectivity) has a DAW mode but the list of supported DAWs is pretty short and (unsurprisingly, I guess) doesn't include Tracktion Waveform (nor Samplitude, for that matter). So I'm wondering if these extra $70 for the Blue version is worth it, as that's really the only advantage of the Blue for my envisioned use.

Anyone have any idea whether it's possible to use the Vidami Blue with Waveform by configuring it as some other more generic controller?
