Hi.
I just reformated and updated to mac osx 10.3. I backed up my library folder in hopes of saving all my app data.
I opened one of my old projects and saw that all but my current sampler presets are missing? Does anyone know where these are written to HD? Does tracktion keep them with the project or edit files?
Lemme know if you can help. Thanks.
Where does tracktion keep it's sampler presets?

It saves them in the user settings file, which on pc is in the tracktion install directory and called CurrentUserSettings.trksettings. So they're a part of the Tracktion install itself, rather than related to a particular edit or project, hence you can use them in any project you create, not just the one you're currently working on.

If you're moving to another computer, or reinstalling your machine or something, you can back that file up, and use it with a fresh install of T if you like. That might not help you now (sorry!), but worth doing in future if you get a new machine. I'm just moving to a new laptop at the mo, and feeling my way around it
