I know this probably gets asked a lot but I cant find an answer, and i have some days to do recording free of everything and I cant get this to work
my mdrummer is using 'global' when generating drumsets, I know I should 'use the custom folder' which is fine, but it always uses 'global' which means it finds nothing as its set to the wrong path (not sure how I did that but I was trying to replicate how my other computer was set up which had a different name for the user so its messed up)
I now have all my samples across computers using the same (new) path but Mdrummer keeps reverting..
1: can I change the global path so it looks in the right folder
2: can I stop it from using the global path for any kind of generation, and just use custom
3:does custom path allow for subdirectories? surely it does but it doesnt seem to work for me - we are told to 'put samples in the custom folder' but then I do that and it stays in the root - are we expected to have a whole folder full of samples not in subfolders? thats insane if so - i'd have to copy my whole sample library just so mdrummer can find samples but without having a clean folder structure!
help please anyone!

Nah thats not it - you had me going for a split second before I checked on mine! isnt the path that is being used by Mdrummer. I set mine somehow because it has my old username which was the path to all my samples from a previous computer. I guess importing presets somehow made it go there (but the username is different so its failing) And I want to keep all my stuff in the onedrive folder because I am sick of not being able to sync across my main rig and laptops.
I read somewhere on a forum people having difficulties and I think this was one the fixes but I cant remember how to turn it back. I've tried emailing support but just waiting for tickets to get answered
