17.02 breaks a whole bunch of MSoundFactory expansions

I updated to 17.02 yesterday, and trying to fire up MSoundFactory will happily crash my DAWs on MacOS now - the following expansions seem to have proper problems:

atmospace
baboom
cyber bear
cyber terror
cyberpunk bass
cyclicity
deep vibes
dino-saw
frozen sparks
funky robot
magic dust
mecha vox
mega lead factory
neon dolls
neuro shredder
power brass
power strings
pulsor
solar flare
sonic pulse
space pad factory
sugar rush
super-saw
twisted wave
ultra mod

I did a full uninstall with the new install manager, rebooted, reinstalled all my melda products, except MDrummer and MSoundFactory, then installed the essentials for those two, then installed MDrummer and MSoundFactory, then reinstalled the full 200GB of expansions... same deal, trying to load any of the ones in the above list at best loads with broken UI, but at worst just instantly crashes whatever DAW I'm using.

In the "at best" case, I get errors like "error loading control 50 of type ." (clearly missing a string there?) and "Known template (Neon dark) is not available, please install the newest version of the software" which is... kind of impossible? This is literally the newest version there is =(

Hmmm, no such problem here, MacOS Monterey 12.7.6, 2015 iMac/2021 M1 MBP, Digital Performer and Gig Performer both load all these instruments without issue.

Then you're better off than I am - I posted here because it's the official way to contact melda support, so hopefully they can help figure out what's wrong.

Surely doesn't hurt, i have done it a couple of time and they were resonabily fast, so i suggest you to do it

Although this forum is listed on the Melda site as a support channel, it generally works better to contact them via email.

I'm having this issue as well, in Logic with AU and via Komplete Kontrol with VST3. Turning off the Custom GUI solves the problem but makes it less engaging and less user friendly to use.

Perhaps it was 'dont use 17.02 from last October, use 17.04 from a few weeks ago'
