I have Waveform on Linux and it works fine.
I also have it on Windows which I never use. But I decided to use it and it was empty, I created a new project, chose the 4OSC synth, tested it on the piano roll, it worked. I heard sound and the volume indicators jumped at every note.
But then I created notes on the MIDI grid and they just don't play. The volume indicators don't move either. What am I doing wrong?
Bonus question: is it safe to copy all my Linux settings over to Windows so I don't have to reconfigure everything manually?
No MIDI sound

You are right. It's the velocity. And every single new note is inserted with velocity 0. I have to correct each one manually which is an absolute pain in the neck. That never happened in my Linux installation. Is there some way to fix that?

It appears to be a bug. It happened to me a few times yesterday but seems to be working fine now.
Usually, the velocity will be set to the same velocity as the previous note.
You can adjust the velocity for a number of notes at once. Just select the relevant notes and set the velocity to whatever you like.
