Powerstrings / Crashing

Hallo everyone,

yesterday I bought the Powerstrings addon in the black friday sale.
When I try to use it, it keeps crashing with the same notification.
I already tried de & re-installing all the Melda software but that did not help. On Google I cannot find a solution.

I am on plugin manager v 17.02, Sound Factory engine version 2 and Powerstrings Version 4.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

I think this issue is caused by some unused GUI residual files in your file system from the old installation, which are causing this problem. Depending on your OS, do the following:

WIN
delete folder C:/ProgramData/MeldaProduction/DATA

MAC
delete folder /Library/Application Support/MeldaProduction/DATA

Then run MPluginManager and do repair install (no need to download all pkgs, just reinstall), this should fix your issue. Let me know, if that worked.
