MSoundFactoryPlayer and MPluginManager

I am a bit confused. I use MSoundFactoryPlayer in Cakewalk by Bandlab, and mainly use Monastry Grand and Power Strings. I was also looking at Analogue Empire Pads and Strings which is on offer at £7, but it says I need MPluginManager, which I presently don't have installed - I only have MSoundFactoryPlayer V16.11. So my query is do I need to uninstall MSoundFactoryPlayer first, then install MPluginManager? Does MPluginMananger just replace MSoundFacvtoryPlayer if I install it? Or if I install MPluginManager will I end up with that and MSoundFactory Player?
I'm a little confused, I can't seem to find the info I need to progress. TIA

It's their new product manager. Have to say it's very convenient.
Load, login, auto select your licensed plugin, install/update.
you'll end up with Msoundfactory updated, and other plugin you bought or want to try.
It's not a replacement for your plugin, it's how you install them.

Hm, ok, thanks for that. I have downloaded it and installed it. I also have a question on MSoundFactoryLE. Their site is not very clear on what the limitations are, apart from you can't use the edit page. Does this mean you cannot alter effects settings, attack, release etc in patches. Using power strings as an example (I have the full version, so I know what can be adjusted), in the LE version can you still adjust the articulations and effects parameters?
Finally, my MSoundFactory Player is version 16.11 - the picture on the website shows version 17. How do I update this in my DAW - I can't see any way of doing this?
Sorry for so many questions!

most daws you’ll just need to restart your computer after installing the newest version. if that doesn’t work and you definitely installed, check your daws plugin manager. if you’re asking how to install it, see above responses.meggeth wrote: Tue Dec 17, 2024 12:26 am Hm, ok, thanks for that. if you want to be able to adjust adsr parameters and whatnot beyond what is provided on the main interface, you’ll need the full version of sound factory

Thanks for the comments guys. I decided to give LE version a go at £22 on plugin boutique, can't really lose out at that price! Not the easiest interface, and I seem to have lost the free effects I used to have, so had to reinstall those. I'll see how it goes.
One thing I have noticed is that when I'm viewing instruments in their groups, it only seems to show "new" ones - is there some setting that shows all? I can't seem to find anything
