Plugin issue

So basically i was downloading a plugin, a sampler, and basically i had to add a directory to the plugin, but when i right-clicked to add one, the buttons didnt work. this same thing happens with all my other plugin. I am very confused

Operating System, Waveform version, and the plugin name and format (vst, vst3, etc.) would help a lot.
