waveform: program changes for plugins that don't expose presets

I have a synth that has presets but does not expose them to selection via program change. REAPER has a workaround. It has preset controls outside the UI for the plugin, and I can assign that preset selector to program changes. It requires I save presets in a second place, but it works.

Is there something similar in Waveform?
