Master key and scale stuck on Cmaj

Hello, whenever I create a midi it always shows me Cmaj even tho I put something else on the master. How do I fix this issue? Is there an option to not make it stuck to Cmaj?? Thanks.

It would be nice if you used something more descriptive than "it" to tell us what you are expecting to see, where you are expecting to see it, and what you are seeing instead of what you want to see.

The black and white notes that appear when I put a midi in any track to insert sound from a plugin do not follow the key/scale when I change them in the whole project, like no matter what I put there it will always show me the cmaj scale in the midi editor even though it's set to something else in the project scale (at the bottom right of the screen). So I expect it to change to whatever other scale than cmaj.

Settings -> Appearance -> MIDI Note Colour -> Highlight current key in MIDI background
