Should I start archiving my older projects?

Still using WF12. I did a rough count this morning, and it looks like I have something in the neighborhood of about 150 projects (not including their associated edits).

I've noticed in the last month or so, Waveform is taking a while to fully load in (where the CPU indicator hits 100%). Would all those projects possibly be the cause? And if so, would archiving them solve the issue?

I haven't archived in the past because a lot of times I'll go back and tinker around using the same tracks, but remixing with new plugins and/or ideas.

(As an aside, I do, however, delete all of the imported tracks once I'm done work on a song, since I can easily import them again using back-up CDRs of the data I keep.)
