Blue Cat Remote Control - Problem changing control labels

I'm using one of the demo panels and just tried to relabel some of the control element titles.
No problem until I used any letter which is also used by my DAW (Cakewalk) as a keyboard shortcut.
So an an example, if I try to use the letter 'R' within the control title then it activates the Cakewalk Step Record function (and the letter 'R' is not entered in the control title).

I'm using the VST version of Blue Cat Remote Control. I've tried a number of other VST plug-ins and no others have this issue.
