I have a Windows laptop and typically have no issue connecting MIDI devices to Waveform. But I'm unable to get my Blue Snowball to connect. I can see it under the Audio Devices tab in the settings, but when I open a project, it's not in the inputs section, and all that shows up is "input channel 1", which makes no sound.

I've tried starting up the computer with the cable already plugged in, changing which USB port I'm inserting the cable into, and I made sure that my computer and Waveform say that it's connected without issue. What should I do to fix this?

It would help us if you could do a screen capture of your Settings -> Audio Devices so we can see your setup instead of relying on your description.

You say "makes no sound" but that can mean a few things. Do you mean that you can't hear anything or Waveform can't receive audio. The default for audio devices is to NOT monitor the incoming audio unless you have armed the input. Even with the input armed, you can still choose to not be able to hear the the audio. So please test to see if audio is recorded, regardless of whether or not you can hear it while it's being recorded.

Surely there must be consensus by now...
