I'm using MAutoAlign 17.04 and just noticed a change in behavior.
It seems that the time alignment method is different between v17.00 and before.
Previously, MAutoAlign achieved time alignment by adding delay to the track that was ahead in time.
(The originaly delayed track is the reference)
But now, it seems to achieve time alignment by advancing the timing of the delayed track.
(The originaly advanced track is the reference)
The latter (current) behavior is very hard for me to use.
I time align the microphones of each drum kit piece based on the drum overhead microphone.
There must be many users who use it in this way.
In this case, the current behavior of "advancing the originaly delayed track to time align" is useless.
I would like to use the overhead microphone as a reference and delay the microphone timing of each kit piece as before, but the current default behavior in 17.00 and later does not allow that.
So, I think this is a deterioration.
I hope that in a future update, there will be an option to make the previous behavior of "achieving time alignment by adding delay to the advancing track" the default.
Currently, I can achieve this behavior by resetting the "latency" parameter to 0 ms after "Analyse,"
but this operation is cumbersome and I sometimes forget to do it.
So I would like an option to "not advance the track" as the default behavior, as in the previous version.
Sorry for my poor English.
I'm not sure if I've explained it well, but it's true that there is a problem here.
If you're interested, please check it out.
Thank you.
