In this video I show how we can now easily create wavetables in MSoundfactory by using the "turn output into wavetable" function. I show how you can do it and also some ideas that you can use.

11:50 You haven't essentially changed anything, just the start phase of ALL unison voices, which still start simultaneously and it can be easily heard since the result is the same. If you had succeeded the result would be that the oscillation itself would sound washed out and less obvious, which is not the case.

It's about each note (in a chord) starting at a different position in the wave table. Not unison.zuhizuhi wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 3:32 pm 11:50 You haven't essentially changed anything, just the start phase of ALL unison voices, which still start simultaneously and it can be easily heard since the result is the same. Ah, my bad, you might be right. But still it might be a good idea to randomize the voices in unison phase-wiseIt's about each note (in a chord) starting at a different position in the wave table. Not unison.

I was randomizing the start position of the LFO for each note in the chord and not the unison. I believe you could do it with unison, but I'd need to use a different module and I didn't really want to go through the setup since this tutorial really isn't about that.zuhizuhi wrote: Sun Mar 30, 2025 11:56 amAh, my bad, you might be right.
