I downloaded 'DrivenByMoss-25.0.1-Bitwig.zip' and extracted the folder then copied the extension file to look like this:
"C:\Users\shado\Documents\Bitwig Studio\Extensions\DrivenByMoss.bwextension"
Under controllers I don't get an auto-enable so I manually made one using Mackie/MCU Control Universal config and it opens up fine.
I turned off all of my Firewalls and VPNs when testing the OSC-over-network connection although it shouldn't matter with a direct physical MIDI cables right? (it didn't work but this is supposed to be a mobile performance setup so I can't depend on wireless connection anyway)
But my TouchOSC screen does not move any of the controls.
The manual mentions the following in the Known Issues but it doesn't make sense and appears to be for an earlier version of BW. If there is some other configuration I need to make for DrivenByMOSS I don't know where it is.
So at this point I'm stuck. If you are wondering where the document settings are: open the right hand pane (which contains the
browser as well) and select the pane “Studio I/O” on the bottom. Then click the little arrow before the
script name to reveal the document settings. These settings are stored with every project individually
(Note: I WAS able to get the TouchMCU project working in Ableton although that doesn't use DrivenByMOSS and that project does not have a BW version. But it proves my connection path is working.)
Would it be useful to go back to a Bridge/OSC network setup and try to observe OSC messages in Protokol? I could never get a connection to show up with direct midi but I could see OSC messages LOCALLY but not at the far end.
Update: I was able to get OSC messages to show up at the far end but they don't seem to be working when I set up a controller.
