Waveform 12 and Ragnarök - no automation parameters

Hello,
I'm attempting this month's OSC challenge, my DAW of choice is Waveform (has been since Tracktion 2).
I'm stuck with some issue here : I use an external controller, I've done the CC mapping according to Ragnarök's manual in the ragnarok.ini file, but the synth does not react to my CC changes. If I check with a showmidi instance inside Waveforme, the CC are transmitted correctly and received by Waveform, but not forwarded to Ragnarök.
If I use MIDI learn, it works correctly (my controller is able to pilot Ragnnarök parameters), but I have to do this every time I ad a Ragnarök instance, and I cannot find a way to save this MIDI mapping to reuse it later.

Two questions here :
- is there a way to force waveform to route CCs to the VST ? (some parameters are hidden and cannot be mapped using midi learn)
- is there a way to save MIDI learn data alongide the VST (I've a lot of instances...)

So the MIDI CC data can be saved into a MIDI clip in Waveform, but that MIDI CC data does not go out to the VST on the track? Have you tried to use the MIDI Monitor plugin before the VST to see if the CC data is getting that far?

- is there a way to save MIDI learn data alongide the VST (I've a lot of instances...)

MIDI learn is not something that I ever do, so I can't say for sure, but maybe you can get it set up and then save a Track Preset? That might keep the settings you want.

Following your advice I redid some tests, and I figured it out: It seems to come from Ragnarök, as the automation lanes are recorded correctly in Waveform, but are only read on the synth side when they are set on MIDI channel 1. I've read a similar problem on the OSC discord chat.

Thanks for the advice on the Track preset, I didn't think of it; it will make a great workaround for the time being.

Now that I know what's wrong, I solved in the instant using Waveform's MIDI Patchbay by rerouting all channels to channel 1 before each instance of the Synth.
