MTremoloMB (and others) - time-graph sync?

I've been using MTremolo and its *MB sibling for a while, and I can't get the time-graph to work as it does in other similar plugins (Shaperbox, for instance). What I want to do is to have the time-graph analyzer (in static mode) reset every 1/4 note to see how my ducking works. I'm able to set the time-graph period to 1/4, but the problem is that (unlike the actual tremolo LFO) it does not sync with the DAW song position, its playhead just continues going (until there's no audio to process) when I stop the playback and doesn't reset when I restart the playback. When I play from 1:1:000 to again I expect the playhead to start from the left edge of the graph, (similarly, when I start from 2:1:480 I expect it to start from the middle) yet it continues from wherever it was when I hit "play" again, making it completely useless.

I must be missing something very obvious, as I find it otherwise impossible to not have this "sync the playhead to DAW position within a bar" feature implemented?

I replied to this, a day or two ago, but strangely, my reply has been deleted.

So again:
This has been requested a few times, but Vojtech doesn't think this request is worth the time to implement

Too bad. Seems like a no-brainer and, well, a must for such plugins, where you sometimes need surgical precision to avoid phase cancellations. I've always been saying "is there anything that Melda plugins cannot do?" - well, there it is. I guess I'll have to switch to Shaperbox then :|

MeldaProduction won't do.
See my previous attempt.

A off topic "rant" follows:
They didn't even bother to reply to my FR for a "few days" ... okay, it was more than two months they took. It got 7 thumbs up which is not bad.
And they only replied because I regularly bumped it to keep it in the first ten posts, because if they finally show up, they reply only to the first ten posts ... Or you are chandler ... then you get an immediate thumbs up. So be like chandler ;-)
The customer interaction here worsened a lot from my perspective. I remember the days when Mr Melda himself was way more active and responsive on this forum. It felt better for me as a customer ... but to be fair ... I know doing everything like programming, Website, forums l, etc. can burn sbdy out. But I think there should be a compromise where both sides are happy ...

Yep. This was exactly my argument.
With a framework as full featured and technical as the Melda bundle, you would EXPECT to see this feature.
And the fact that it's not there is just... weird tbh

I also remember those days.
You may also remember the was a lot of animosity and arguing between Melda and Image Line, because IL accused Melda of stealing their EQ handles (amongst other things).

Then one day, years later, Image Line buys out Melda (which seemed very childish to me), and that's when things started going downhill.
And it really did seem like Image Line did it just to spite him.
I think Vojtech felt like his plugins were no longer his "babies", and they had been taken into foster care by the wicked Image Line. :x

Just the way I see it.

I just bump it, to see whether we get another "won't happen" finally

I bump it to keep it in the top 10 ... the only chance to get any form of fb somewhen. it seems the frequency of "top ten comments get feedback" dropped to 2 months these days ;-)

Post

ha ha ha ... so the time between reply-bursts increased to about 2 months whereas the number of topics that get a reply decreased to less than 10.

Don't know whether "guess the bpm" posts on facebook is the best way to do crm while ... a forget it.
Probably about time to change ship.

:D :D
Well, honestly in single plugins it could perhaps be possible, but the todo list is just sooooo looong... and this is not that simple in the engine. Shaperbox and others are designed specifically for that. But our metering system can visualise so many different features, with potentially multiple bands etc., it just get really complex...
