Melda Analyzer Decay: Clear All Data or Customize Knob Layout?

Greetings, all!
First time poster... I'm a Reaper user and Melda Analyzer is one of my favorite plugins. I have a fundamental question that is probably totally obvious, but I just can't figure it out.
I do sound design for movie and game projects, so lots of dynamic soundscapes that have to balance dialogue, effects, and music. One of my favorite use-cases of the Analyzer is the cumulative peak feature (Turn off Normalization, Averaging to 0ms, Decay to 100%. Everything persists on the graph.) This is really helpful for things like making sure short bursts of dialogue or action sounds are mixed at consistent volumes across long tracks. I play through one piece of dialogue to see the total sonic imprint, then reset to play through the next piece, etc.
However... the only way to reset that I can tell is to manually turn the Decay knob back down below 100%. The Refresh button on the main Analyzer graph does not clear the data if Decay is at 100%. And since Decay lives in the Settings pop-up, it is a rather obnoxious momentum killer to open the pop-up, turn the knob down till the chart clears, then turn it back up, then close the pop-up. Really adds up if you're balancing 100s of individual effects.
Is there an option from the main graph for a full data clear/reset so that I don't need to mess with the Decay knob?
OR
Is there a way to add the Decay knob to the Basic Settings area? That piece of UI only has Averaging and Smoothness knobs with plenty of room in between for other knobs. There are even some old tutorials out there with earlier versions of the Analyzer interface that do have the Decay Knob above the main graph alongside Average & Smooth. Any way to revert back to that?
Thanks so much!

Oh, that's a good one! +1 here! This thing's especially unpleasant when working with SoundFactory - if you use EQ or any plug with spectrum in SF FX section, very often there is a 'silent broadband impulse' (cannot be heard but seen) going on and messing the analyzer (if the decay is high, 50% and higher). You have to always go to Settings and reset it your way (dropping the decay and upping it again). It is very inconvenient and time-consuming.
It would be absolutely great to have a RESET button for the spectrum!
But, of course, it would be of the same greatness to deal with those silent sporadic pulses on the graph out of nowhere...

Glad to know I'm not the only one! Sad to know there is not a build-in solution I've just been missing. Though I realized a third option would be to let the Settings panel open as its own window (like the volume meter can do), then I would have access to the Decay knob at all times. As it stand right now, if the Settings pop-up is open, I can't interact with the main graph until Settings is closed.

+1
I really want Manalyzer to be my goto, but there are 2 issues which just make it unusable for me.
1: Peak reset button (which is what you want)
2: quick storing and recalling of spectrum curves.
I use Blue Cat's Freq Anal Pro, because it addresses both of these beautifully.
There is a "Peak Reset" button and right next to it, we have 4 buttons for storing / recalling ABCD curves, each with their own colour.

Gets the job done faster than manalyzer
