Hide tracks in Edit view but not Mixer View and vice versa

Is there a way to hide some tracks in the edit/arranger view but have the tracks still showing in the mixer? I need this because when I use multi out wrappers, I only have clips on one tracks and a whole bunch of empty tracks receiving sounds from that one track. I'd like to have only the track with the midi/sequencer clip showing in the edit/arrange view, while on the mixer, all the other tracks are visible along side the track with the clip.

Might it be a solution for you to do the following?
Add to your track which I name "start-from-here-track" the plugin and when asked for this detail choose "Create multi-out wrapper in submix". Then, after all the tracks have been created and grouped in a submix, select only the "start-from-here-track" in that submix and for this one call function "unpack selected tracks from folder". As the result you should now have the possibility to fold the submix to appear as only one visible track (the folded submix track), and next to it would stay separately your "start-from-here-track" as you have had it before. At least you can now in the editor view mode do a fold of the submix contained tracks to only stay visible on the screen as one folded submix track (and you could additionally reduce its height as much as you wish to further reduce its visibility), or unfold it if needed. Folding and unfolding then also can be done in the mixer view. I wouldn't know about a solution coming closer to what you actually asked for, but this workaround could bring you closer to it.
I am not a MIDI clip user by now and therefore wouldn't have the experience to thoroughly test for you if all multi-wrapper functionality stood fully functional by this workaround. Therefore, it would be nice if you could give feedback if this workaround works. I am curious now to know.
Good luck!

it works, I hung kontact on a submix and several midi tracks were sent to each midi channel for different instruments.
This is probably one of my favorite features.

I often have a bunch of tracks, for example pads or drums, which I output to another track named 'pad bus' or 'drum bus'. I then add all the tracks, apart from the bus, to a folder. Then I can use the folder as a show/hide while still having the bus track visible.
This is not what you want, but an expansion on the idea of customising visibility.
Closer to Talbys idea, I think you could have a track with just midi clips on it, a folder with your multi out plugin and tracks, and then select the input of your plugin track as 'route midi from (*your midi clip track*)
If it's helpful for your experiments, you can also use an empty rack plugin as a midi pass through, simply make sure the midi input is connected to the output of an empty rack, place one on the midi clip track and copy it to the plugin track, before the plugin.

We forgot to mention, that also using the "tag" functionality can be helpful.
At the bottom of the "Tracks"-tab in the BROWSER it can be select one or more tags for then toggling for the made selection "Show Only Tagged Tracks". Before, these tags have to be defined for the tracks of interest, of course. Adding tags as identifiers to a track is achieved by selecting a track, and then in the bottom placed Controls Panel, or on the "Actions"-tab in the BROWSER type the wished tag text into the tag field of the track.

We by now didn't mention that there is in the BROWSER of course also a tab called "Tracks", from where you can toggle to hide or show individual tracks or groups of tracks.
But this will not distinguish between the Arranger and the Mixer view.
However, if you separate your tracks as I suggested before, than you can hide the folder with the not relevant tracks of your multi-out wrapper tracks, instead of only folding it.
