can you add drum beats to axiom looper? What format type?

What do yo mean? You can definitely record drum beats within the looper if you wish, it will record any incoming audio. There are actually a couple of free loops with drum beats available for download here.

I was talking about creating my own drum and bass track and adding it to the looper like the free beats above.
I tried opening a vst drum in axiom, but the looper doesn't record it. Is there a way?

Oh, I guess you are loading the instruments in the tools section, right? These are directly routed to the output of Axiom and won't go thru other plug-ins. You may simply load the instruments anywhere else before the looper, in place of the guitar signal, and they will be recorded in the looper.
