That is, can I select a bunch of notes in the midi editor and nudge them all into a given key or scale?
If so, how?
If so, how?

Thanks, I couldn't see how to use the snap function to 'quantise' existing midi. That's what I'm looking formrcleats wrote: Thu Sep 04, 2025 7:02 pm Like this?

Set a scale in "Key snap" in the piano roll, select all the notes and move them up/down. They will snap into the scale.
Or this, as in the like above:
How to quickly change the key of your notes
If you're curious about how your notes would sound in a different scale, you can simply select a new scale from the "snap to key" dropdown. Then, go to the Actions menu (shortcut: ?), navigate to the MIDI Editor section, and search for "Force selected notes into key signature". This action will move all the notes to match the new scale you assigned.

There are two kinds of people in the world. And you're not one of them.
