Lost automation volume control (Waveform 12)

Tried exiting the project and software, and restarting, but no automation volume control on any tracks. I can still control track main volume, but can't do any fades with automation, and that includes the master volume. It's only the one project edit.

Any ideas how to find the problem.

Check the automation playback button.

Look down at your playhead (that sounds weird, sorry Tony)--two buttons to the left of the Play arrow is an "A" inside a box with an arrow next to it. Make sure that's clicked green (if it's off, its a gray button with a green square...if it's on, it's a green button with a white square).

Make sure it's green with a white square and try again.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Ugh...sure enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I love Waveform, but there's so much going on within the interface, that often can create markers unintentionally when trying to gain stage by accidentally pressing the wrong button. But this is the first time I remember accidentally clicking that off. That's a good one to know.

Many thanks again.

It's terribly easy to do: I forget which letter on your keyboard that's mapped to. I'll sometimes do it when I think I'm naming a track or clip.
