Zebra3 - How can I best utilize the new PITCH section

Dear u-he team, thank you for your hard work! The beta version runs exceptionally well on Ableton 12.3.1 and my MacBook.

I spent all night reading the Zebra 3 manual—it's very well written (I was reading while playing it around in Ableton, so I'm only up to the OSCILLATOR EDITOR chapter now). I'm incredibly excited about the possibilities Zebra 3 holds!

However, while reading the PITCH section of the manual, I felt it lacked examples to help readers grasp the differences between the options. For instance, are there example parameters that clearly demonstrate the distinctions between Uncalibrate, Hypercalibrate, and Destabilize? (Perhaps these terms are obvious to hardware experts, but examples illustrating their differences would be invaluable.)

Given that PITCH section replaces the previous XY PERFORM position, perhaps that's why I have such high expectations for it. I really miss the XY PERFORM feature from ZebraHZ. While I can achieve something similar in Ableton using Macro mappings in the Rack, having it natively integrated like ZebraHZ allows me to assign MIDI mappings to it all at once.

Moreover, I haven't yet experienced any huge advantages from the PITCH section replacing XY PERFORM. I trust u-he's design considerations should be sound, but I believe the manual could benefit from more examples. These would help readers grasp the rationale behind these improvements and better utilize the PITCH functionality—a Leader and three Followers spanning the entire interface.

While browsing presets, I've encountered instances where removing a module and then undoing the action didn't restore the removed module. Instead, it jumped directly back to the previous preset. I'm unsure if this is a bug, but it hasn't happened consistently—only three or four times over an entire evening.

Overall, I'm incredibly grateful for the u-he team's relentless dedication. As a young user who just purchased Zebra Legacy this year, I lack the extensive hardware synth experience many seasoned Zebra users possess. Still, I'm boldly asking: how can I best utilize the PITCH interface?

While using the new Zebra 3, even before finishing the manual, I could already sense the tremendous care put in by the u-he team. Examples include the flexible SCOPE (though it would be even better if you could pull it out from the Zebra3 interface and place it on a second screen!), and the more flexible MODULATION assignment methods.

Thank you very much!
(me go back to reading the manual ...)

It's mentioned in the known issues section in the Zebra 3 thread. Don't rely on the undo/redo system yet, as not everything will get registered in the undo chain yet.
That QA guy from planet u-he.

Thanks for your reply!
When designing sounds, I sometimes instinctively click undo/redo.
Looks like I need to remind myself to manually adjust things back more often.
