How to run Polaritys melodymaker js in Linux?

I try to setup Polaritys js controllers like melodymaker and chordmaker in Bitwig on Linux Mint. I copy the scripts to both the controller and extensions directory. I hav tried to put them directly in that directory and in a sub directory. I go to the controller page in the Bitwig setup and try to add a controller but they do not show up there.... What am I missing? I feel a bit stupid not getting this....
