I thought that the release of the Zebra3 Beta would be the perfect opportunity to request a feature that I have been wanting in the U-he Preset Browser for many years across their different plugins.
Please let us rename the "Favourites" to whatever we want.
I think its a waste of functionality/UX to have the "Favourites" simply named "Favourite 1", 2 etc.
I personally want to be able to rename the "Favourites" to reflect the different genres that I produce.
I keep messing up/forgetting which colour that I wanted to associate with what genre, and get things incorrectly labeled.
Zebra3 would be the perfect occasion to let the users decide what they want to name their "Favourites".
I bet it will be an easy task to do for the geniuses at U-he, as it only needs to be changed (displayed) in the GUI. The preset database can still retain the tagging mechanism (1-8) it uses for Favourites today, so no deep changes would be necessary, and everything would work as usual. Only that "Favourite 1" would now be displayed as for instance "Electronica" in the GUI. The user specified values could also in principle retain the current length restriction of "Favourite x" (11 chars). That would add so much to my user experience.
So please, U-he, now is the time
