The MIDI learn mode works to link a physical controller (expression pedal) to a waveform legacy effect (lowpass filter) but this assignment disappears if the rack (instrument + filter) is saved as a preset.
Other assignments in other plugins (ie Kontakt) work fine as saved Waveform presets.

I'm had a quick try with the legacy low pass filter in a rack like you said. the midi learned assignment to the filter dies when I delete the rack and reinsert it. I tried assigning a macro to the cutoff and doing midi learn to the macro. When I deleted that rack and reinserted it the midi assignment was not visible, but touching the controller nuked Waveform instantly. I've had trouble in the past getting Waveform to save midi learned parameters and kinda stopped trying. For the amount I need it I can just relearn them. Not much help, sorry.
