Hi, whats recommended? I use Patchwork in Pro Tools to use Instruments that are not AAX available or unstable (looking at you UVI Workstation)
I usually use AU because thats installed anyway (secondary DAW is Logic) and it works fine, just wondering if there are any advantages of using vst...?

The advantage of using VSTs over AU is to be able to load the Pro Tools sessions on Windows as well (which can be a big deal if you work with others). If you are working only on Mac, it do snot matter much.
