Hello gang,
if plugins loaded into patchwork don't offer "true" bypass natively, patchwork won't bypass it "truly" - i.e. the reported plugin latency will still be in effect, because the plugin is bypassed but still active in the background and ready to go.
can you implement a "de-activate" plugin toggle - so we get a "true" bypass option ?
it would be very useful, because some of use patcjwork as a plugin container for plugins ready to go, but don't want to latency to effect sessions or render times - aka 5 different izotope rx plugins with a huge load of latency.
also audio suiting takes alot of time, even when plugins are bypassed, de-activate would take care of that.
pro tools also handles bypassed plugins the same way. only "inactive" plugins don't create latency anymore.
huge bonus would be pro tools style command click will bypass / unbypass plugins and command control click will deactivate and activate plugins.
Patchwork - True Bypass

Hi,
Thank you for the feedback. Plug-in Deactivation is indeed something I'd like to do. Still struggling on the details of how it should be done
