MPluginManager opens with black screen

Hi,

I can't install the plugin pack through the MPluginManager on Windows, when trying to run the .exe it just opens a black screen. I've tried updating graphic drivers, changing the compatibility mode, turning off hardware acceleration in settings; nothing works.

Any help?

Nevermind I had to update Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable to get it to work, for anyone running into the same issue

Interesting - thaks for reporting this. We have checked deepley and MPluginManager does not rely on any C++ redistributables - all required libraries are linked statically, which you can verify with tools like Dependency Walker. We’ve tested it on a clean Windows 11 system with no redistributables installed, and it runs fine.

The issue you experienced is an edge case. It may happen if your GPU or system environment requires something unusual, or if your existing C++ redistributables were corrupted. Reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 redistributable can fix it, as it did in your case. For most users, the app works without installing anything extra as all is bundled.
